Just a short walk from the village you can find Long Meg and her daughters, one of the finest stone circles in the north of England- ask the owners for its mythical and mysterious legend!

If you are looking for activities to occupy the family, Hunsonby outdoor swimming pool can be reached in 5 minutes by car and is open from April- September. Free Tennis courts in Langwathby and lovely play parks close by.
